Blue Line Transfer located at 500 E. Jamie Court in South San Francisco is a full service transfer station open to the public for self-hauling of trash and recyclables Monday through Saturday from 6:00am to 4:30pm call (650) 589-5511 for more information.

Services include:

  • Certified redemption center for buyback of recyclable materials
  • BOPA (Batteries, Oil, Paint, Antifreeze)
  • Wood and Yardwaste processing area
  • Electronics recycling
  • Construction and demolition waste recycling
Many materials are processed at Blue Line Transfer Station. A large percentage of this material is processed and ultimately returned to the consumer in the form of products made from recycled paper, cardboard, glass, plastic, metals and high quality compost from our yardwaste processing.

If you have just cleaned out your garage or backyard and have a truck full of refuse, Blue Line Transfer is your next stop.

Remember to cover all loads being transported to the transfer station.

No hazardous wastes other than those listed will be accepted.

After much anticipation, our new Materials Recovery Facility (MRF) at 500 East Jamie Court in South San Francisco opened in January 2001.

Our New Materials Recovery Facility

This new 101,000 square foot facility is a state of the art MRF / Transfer Station that will help the areas South San Francisco Scavenger Company services meet the demanding requirements of the 21st century. Now, less garbage than ever before will go to the landfill, with ever-greater quantities of recyclable materials being processed and shipped to markets to be recycled into new products to be used again.
